Sale terms
You buy a card from us. Here is what that commits, on your side and on ours.
Updated 10 September 2026
Who sells you the card
The shop is run by KAWLET, a company based in Lille, France. Its address, registration and phone number are on the legal notice, and the phone number sits at the bottom of every page.
These terms apply when you buy for yourself. If you buy for a shop or to resell, write to us before you order: it is a different contract, and you do not get the same protections.
What you are buying
Most of our cards are second-hand. They were opened, sometimes played with, and bought from someone before they reached us. That is not a hidden fault, it is what you are buying, and the price reflects it.
Every listing states the copy's condition, its language and the set it came from. The condition follows the scale the whole card market uses, and we grade it with the card in hand before putting it up.
A second-hand card is one of a kind. Once it goes, it is gone: the same listing may later show a different copy, in a different condition and at a different price. Some of the boxes we sell are still sealed, and those are new.
The price, and what it covers
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. Delivery is added on top, and you see it before you pay.
On second-hand cards we use the margin scheme for VAT. In practice: your invoice shows no reclaimable VAT, and it says so. If you need an invoice with VAT on it, this shop is not right for your purchase.
A displayed price is the price at the moment you order. We revise them often, and a price you saw yesterday binds nobody.
How the order is made
You fill your basket, you accept these terms, and you are taken to the payment page. The sale is concluded when you pay.
We then email you a summary of what you bought. Keep it: that is your proof.
We can turn an order down, and we tell you why. A card sold twice by mistake, an address that leads nowhere, a serious doubt about a payment: in those cases you are refunded in full and charged nothing.
Payment
Payment happens on our shop provider's secure page. The accepted methods are shown there, and we never see your card number.
Nothing is held until the payment goes through. A card stays on sale until somebody has paid for it.
Sending and delivery
We ship to the address you give us. Delivery options and their price are shown before payment, along with the time the carrier announces.
Unless we told you another date when selling you the card, we deliver within thirty days of your order at the latest. After that you can ask us to deliver within a reasonable further period, and if we miss it, cancel your order and be refunded.
Your cards travel under our responsibility until they are in your hands. A parcel lost or damaged on the way is our problem, not yours: tell us and we take it back on.
If you change your mind
You have fourteen days from the day you receive your card to tell us you are returning it, with no reason to give. An email is enough, and you may also use the standard form the law provides.
You then have fourteen days to send it back. The return is at your cost, and we advise a tracked service: until the card reaches us, it is on you.
We refund everything, including the outbound delivery, within fourteen days of getting the card back at the latest. If you had chosen a delivery more expensive than the cheapest we offered, we refund the cheapest one's rate.
What that window does not cover
A returned card must come back as it left. If it lost value because you handled it beyond what looking at it required, we can hold that loss back from the refund, and we tell you how much and why.
A sealed box you have opened cannot be returned. The seal is what gives it its value, and nobody can put it back.
If the card is not the one you expected
If what arrives does not match what the listing said — another copy, a lower condition, damage nothing warned you about — write to us. We take it back, we replace it if we have the equivalent, and otherwise we refund you. The return is then at our cost.
On second-hand cards this right runs for twelve months from delivery. On what we sell new, it runs for two years.
The guarantee against hidden defects stays open alongside it, on the terms the law sets, and you choose which of the two you want to use.
What we guarantee about authenticity
Every card that comes to us is checked before it goes on sale. We do not sell reproductions, proxies, or cards we could not authenticate.
If you think the card you received is not genuine, tell us. We take it back at our cost, we have it examined, and we refund you in full if the doubt is confirmed. We do not put a fake card back into circulation.
If something goes wrong
Write to us first. Most things are settled in one email, and we answer.
If we cannot get there, you can bring the matter to a consumer mediator free of charge. You can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
These terms are governed by French law. If you live elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protections your own country's law gives you.
If these terms change
We may revise them. The version that applies to your order is the one you accepted when you paid, and the update date is at the top of this page.
A change never reaches back to an order already placed.
