WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- Toxtricity runs it in 27 of the 27 lists we have read, seen across 26 different tournaments.
- It is a Basic Pokémon. You can put it down on your very first turn, with nothing to evolve through.
- Mark I. The next rotation takes mark H away, so this one stays tournament legal.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- It is a Mega Evolution ex, and that is the most expensive rule in the game. The turn it goes down your opponent takes 3 Prizes instead of one. They need six to win, so 2 knockouts on this card are enough. Send it out knowing that.
- Weakness Grass ×2. Against a Grass Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 3,150 tournament lists we have read, 1,922 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
