You can analyse without it. But with your list we know what your deck held: your Trainers, your Bench plays and your evolutions get a real verdict, and as we replay your turns we can let the upcoming Energy get attached instead of freezing the board. The list stays on your device, same as the log.

Same cards in hand on both runs, or we'd be comparing your luck. And this measures that trade, not the whole game.
What we wrote down once and for all, and count again off the cards every time a new set ships.
Rarity symbols, countedThe symbol at the bottom of your card tells you which pile it came out of. Everyone shows you the symbols.
