Intermediate pace

Its copies leave at an in-between pace.

At least 9 copies gone since 8 October
60 or more for sale on 14 October

The pokoSCORE looks at how fast copies of this card leave the listings we check every day, where collectors sell cards to each other, and compares that pace with the other cards in German that we follow. It says nothing about the price: a card can fly off the shelf and still be worth three euros.

A copy that’s gone has left the listings, and from the outside we can’t tell why. We count it if it hasn’t come back since, and only after 2 weeks when its seller had left all their listings that day. Hence the “at least”.

“Or more”: the page didn’t show us everything, so more copies may be waiting behind it.

What to make of it

Have a look at what it does well, then at what will get in your way. After that you'll know whether it belongs in your deck.

A strength
360 HP, and nothing in Phantasmal Flames goes higher. That is the wall your opponent has to break through before taking a Prize.
A strength
Mega Charizard X ex runs it in 74 of the 74 lists we have read, seen across 67 different tournaments.
A strength
Mark I. It is one of the marks currently accepted in Standard: H, I, and J.
Keep in mind
It is a Mega Evolution ex, and that is the most expensive rule in the game. The turn it goes down your opponent takes 3 Prizes instead of one. They need six to win, so 2 knockouts on this card are enough. Send it out knowing that.
Keep in mind
It is a Stage 2. You have to come through Charmeleon to get here, or find a Rare Candy to skip the middle step.
Keep in mind
Weakness Water ×2. Against a Water Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 6,896 tournament lists we have read, 2,794 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
