Okidogi has appeared in several sets: Twilight Masquerade (TWM 111), Shrouded Fable (SFA 74) and Prismatic Evolutions (PRE 57). It is the same card every time — it plays the same, only the artwork and the price change. Here is what it does once it is on the table.

WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- It has an Ability, Adrena-Power. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
- Okidogi / Barbaracle runs it in 35 of the 35 lists we have read, seen across 34 different tournaments.
- It is a Basic Pokémon. You can put it down on your very first turn, with nothing to evolve through.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- Weakness Psychic ×2. Against a Psychic Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 3,150 tournament lists we have read, 1,829 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
- Mark H, and that is the letter the next rotation takes away. After that you will not be able to play it in Standard.
