WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- 140 HP. Only 4 cards in Crystal Guardians carry more.
- Retreat cost 1. One Energy to discard and it is back on the Bench, which matters a lot on the turn you need to swap attackers.
- Power Revenge hits for 60 on 2 Energy. Nothing in Crystal Guardians hits harder for that price.
- It has an Ability, Extra Liquid. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- None of the 3,299 tournament lists we have read runs it. That does not make it a bad card — it means we have not seen it on a table yet.
- It is an ex card. The turn it goes down your opponent takes 2 Prizes instead of one, and games do turn on exactly that.
- It is a Stage 2. You have to come through Grovyle to get here, or find a Rare Candy to skip the middle step.
- Weakness Grass ×2. Against a Grass Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 3,299 tournament lists we have read, 2,021 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
