Its Ability
Gift Exchange
Once during your turn (before your attack), if Delibird is your Active Pokémon, you may shuffle 1 card from your hand into your deck. Then, draw a card. This power can't be used if Delibird is affected by a Special Condition.
Its attacks
Souvenir
Flip 3 coins. If 1 of them is heads, put 4 damage counters on the Defending Pokémon. If 2 of them are heads, remove 1 damage counter from the Defending Pokémon. If all of them are heads, put 10 damage counters on the Defending Pokémon. If all of them are tails, remove all damage counters from the Defending Pokémon.
What to make of it
Have a look at what it does well, then at what will get in your way. After that you'll know whether it belongs in your deck.
WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- Retreat cost 1. One Energy to discard and it is back on the Bench, which matters a lot on the turn you need to swap attackers.
- It has an Ability, Gift Exchange. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
- It is a Basic Pokémon. You can put it down on your very first turn, with nothing to evolve through.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- None of the 3,299 tournament lists we have read runs it. That does not make it a bad card — it means we have not seen it on a table yet.
- Weakness Metal ×2. Against a Metal Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 3,299 tournament lists we have read, 477 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
Who plays it
None of the tournament lists we have read mentions this card. That happens with a card that has just come out, or one players have not tried yet.
The other cards of this Pokémon
Two cards of the same Pokémon can be worth wildly different amounts — it depends on the set, the rarity and the artwork. We put all 14 Delibird cards on one page, priciest first.
