Which products we compare
A product is compared when at least 6 listings were for sale at its last check and a month earlier. That is 513 of the 887 products from 5 € up that we check.
What “in a month” means
At their latest check, 5 products cost more than on any day of the month before, and 7 cost less.

What “left” means
A listing leaves when it drops off the page between two of our checks. It counts if it isn’t back within 6 days, 14 if its seller left all their listings. Gone for good: away 7 days while its seller still sells elsewhere.

Which products
Of the 1,367 French products listed that week, 250 saw at least one copy leave for good. A seller counts for twenty copies of a product at most, and a seller with a single product page doesn’t count, so this is a floor.

What “clearly” means
“Clearly” means too many of a set’s products move the same way for it to be luck, and their total follows. A set counts from ten compared products.

Asking prices, at the cheapest listing a product counts from 6 listings on both dates a rise or a fall is called when it beats listings coming and going
How we count it
Each product is compared with itself: its price at the last check against its price 7 or 30 days earlier. These are the prices sellers ask in their listings.
Every day we re-read the listings of hundreds of sealed products, from a single pack to a booster box. Each one is compared with itself: its price at the last check against its price 7 or 30 days earlier. These are the prices sellers ask in their listings.
We compare products from 5 € up, each at its cheapest listing.
A move only counts between two days that each had at least 6 listings for sale. With fewer, one listing coming or going is enough to shift the price, and the move would mean nothing.
We add up the prices of everything we compare, at the last check and on the day we compare against. We say this total is going up or down only when the gap is bigger than what listings coming and going would move on their own.
