What to make of it

Have a look at what it does well, then at what will get in your way. After that you'll know whether it belongs in your deck.

A strength
180 HP, and nothing in Next Destinies goes higher. That is the wall your opponent has to break through before taking a Prize.
A strength
Strong Volt hits for 150 on 4 Energy. Nothing in Next Destinies hits harder for that price.
Keep in mind
Retreat cost 3. Once it is out front, it stays there. Pack something that moves it another way, or you will burn whole turns discarding Energy.
Keep in mind
None of the 7,465 tournament lists we have read runs it. That does not make it a bad card — it means we have not seen it on a table yet.
Keep in mind
It is an ex card. The turn it goes down your opponent takes 2 Prizes instead of one, and games do turn on exactly that.
Keep in mind
Weakness Fighting ×2. Against a Fighting Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 7,465 tournament lists we have read, 1,741 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
