Seller location

Reshiram-EX has appeared in several sets: Next Destinies (NXD 22), Legendary Treasures (LTR 29) and BW Black Star Promos (BWP BW36). It is the same card every time — it plays the same, only the artwork and the price change. Here is what it does once it is on the table.

Near Mint: only very few, tiny white marks on the edges or corners are allowed. The surface must be clean, with no scratches or visible clouding from wear. Creases or significant wear rule out this grade. Never having been played does not, by itself, make a card NM.

What to make of it

Have a look at what it does well, then at what will get in your way. After that you'll know whether it belongs in your deck.

A strength
180 HP, and nothing in Next Destinies goes higher. That is the wall your opponent has to break through before taking a Prize.
A strength
Brave Fire hits for 150 on 4 Energy. Nothing in Next Destinies hits harder for that price.
Keep in mind
Retreat cost 3. Once it is out front, it stays there. Pack something that moves it another way, or you will burn whole turns discarding Energy.
Keep in mind
None of the 7,224 tournament lists we have read runs it. That does not make it a bad card — it means we have not seen it on a table yet.
Keep in mind
It is an ex card. The turn it goes down your opponent takes 2 Prizes instead of one, and games do turn on exactly that.
Keep in mind
Weakness Water ×2. Against a Water Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 7,224 tournament lists we have read, 2,926 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
