Its Ability
Grand Wing
Once during your turn, you may use this Ability. Your opponent shuffles their hand and puts it on the bottom of their deck. If they put any cards on the bottom of their deck in this way, they draw 4 cards.
Its attacks
Blow Through
60+If a Stadium is in play, this attack does 60 more damage.
What to make of it
Have a look at what it does well, then at what will get in your way. After that you'll know whether it belongs in your deck.
WHAT IT HAS GOING FOR IT
- Retreat cost 1. One Energy to discard and it is back on the Bench, which matters a lot on the turn you need to swap attackers.
- It has an Ability, Grand Wing. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
- Decidueye ex runs it in 25 of the 25 lists we have read, seen across 24 different tournaments.
- Mark J. The next rotation takes mark H away, so this one stays tournament legal.
WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR
- It is a Stage 2. You have to come through Spewpa to get here, or find a Rare Candy to skip the middle step.
- Weakness Fire ×2. Against a Fire Pokémon, apply that to the damage it takes — it climbs fast. Of the 3,240 tournament lists we have read, 804 run at least one Pokémon of that type.
Who plays it
These decks really played this card at a tournament. We spot it by the little set code printed at the bottom, the one players copy onto their list — two cards sometimes share a name, the code never lies.
| Deck | Lists | Tournaments | Printing listed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Decidueye ex | 25 of 25 | 24 | POR 9 |

The other cards of this Pokémon
