- Blind Scratch hits for 60 on 2 Energy. Nothing in Secret Wonders hits harder for that price.
- It has an Ability, Camouflage. An Ability costs you no attack, so you can use it and still swing the same turn.
- It is a Basic Pokémon. You can put it down on your very first turn, with nothing to evolve through.
